The Baylor Alumni Association (BAA) congratulates the Baylor football team on an outstanding 2010 season! After compiling a 7-5 record, including a great win on the road at Texas, the Bears are set to take on University of Illinois from the Big Ten Conference in the Texas Bowl at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
The contest will be the Bears’ first bowl game in sixteen years, and everyone is ready for a final victory for the season!
While you’re in Houston for the game, be sure to enjoy a wide variety of activities for Baylor fans before the showdown with the Fighting Illini.

11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Tailgate, Reliant Center
2:30 p.m., March of the Bears, Reliant Blue South Lot 18
2 – 5 p.m., TexFest, Reliant Stadium grounds
5 p.m., Texas Bowl kickoff, Reliant Stadium
The Bear Fan Pregame Party on Tuesday night will be an informal get-together hosted by the BAA for Baylor alumni and friends to share food, fellowship, and the Baylor spirit before the big game. A level of the restaurant will be reserved for the event, with first-come, first-served seating. The BAA will provide free appetizers, and guests are free to order off the menu at their own expense. Free gold Growl Towels will be given away to all attending. Get there early and have a great time!
